West Arkansas Community Developmentís (WACD) self-help housing plan is a program where qualified individuals and families can build new homes. This program is offered to you by a combination of government financing, the coordination of WACD, and the familyís labor.

Participants are organized into self-help construction groups of four or more families. Families are organized into groups in order to build the houses more quickly with everyone working together on each otherís home.
